Manor House Kitchen
On a hill, commanding extensive views of the Kent countryside, a large manor house was recently converted back to private use.
The kitchen is a large room, but five doorways in three walls made for a fragmented working area.
The solution was to create a sweeping, multi-angled peninsular to surround the cook and to allow both plentiful worktop space and adequate storage.
Art Deco features were used and the natural maple handmade furniture gave the kitchen a warm but light feel.
