This project was part of the major refurbishment of a secluded Georgian style mansion set in beautiful wooded grounds. A semi-circular entrance at the front and orangery at the back of the house were features echoed in the design of the kitchen.

Luxury and practicality were the order of the day, with entertaining a high priority. Miele was chosen for the cooking and dishwashing equipment, with two Sub-Zero fridge/freezer drawers.

Highly sophisticated home entertainment and security systems were to be installed and a major route for cables was across the kitchen ceiling. A circular dropped section was created to echo again those features of the house, thus enabling the cable runs to be concealed and a flush mounted extractor to be mounted over the cooking island.

A stunning mix of Star Galaxy and Natural Onxy was used for the worktops and walls respectively, the mix repeated on the floor. Onyx was inset into the table at the back of the island and backlit with led lighting.
