Ordering from us
When you place an order with us you will receive an official order confirmation usually within 24 hours of making your order. It is important that you check your order and notify us immediately of any errors and omissions.
We respectfully request payment in full prior to delivery.
Full payment will include, made to measure worktops, glass panels or showers and other items known not to be on the first delivery.
Payment can be made by calling our office with a card payment or if you prefer by bank transfer to our account (details of which can be found on your order).
We may refuse to accept an order:
a) Where Goods are not available or have been withdrawn or discontinued.
b) Where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment;
c) If there has been a pricing or product description error;
d) If you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions
Cancellation and returns policy
If you wish to cancel or change your order:
You must notify us by email to [email protected] before we have dispatched the Goods to you or
Where Goods have already been delivered to you, you must notify us within 7 days of receipt of the Goods.
All Goods ordered on your behalf are deemed as “special orders”.
For the avoidance of any doubt they cannot be cancelled, or returned, unless proven to be faulty or, after Potts Ltd checking with our suppliers that they will agree to accept the Goods in question back for exchange or credit. This especially applies to tiles and glass.
For items that can be returned to our suppliers, these may be subject to a re-stocking or handling charge. The maximum re-stocking charge would be 25% of the total net price of the product in question plus VAT.
Only upon agreement of Potts Ltd can items be returned.
The costs of returning Goods to us shall be borne by you.
All returned items must be in the original unopened and undamaged packaging. If Goods are returned in an un-saleable condition, we may refuse to credit or exchange.
If the Goods are faulty or damaged a replacement will be provided or full refund will be arranged.
In some instances, replacement parts will be ordered and sent to you as soon as possible.
We reserve the right not to collect damaged Goods.
Where delivery times are stated these times are approximate and whilst we endeavour to deliver to you within the time stated, delivery could be delayed due to events beyond our control. The time of delivery serves as an estimate and is not a contractual obligation. For the avoidance of any doubt we shall not be liable for any loss arising from delay in delivery or non-delivery.
Delivery charges may be applied to your order.
Notification of short delivery or damage must be made by email to [email protected] within 24 hours of the receipt of the Goods.
We will deliver to your delivery address where possible provided that the property is situated on a hard road point.
Where your order consists of heavy and/or bulky Goods we may ask for assistance for our drivers to offload the Goods.
For the avoidance of doubt, you will be responsible for the Goods as soon as they have been delivered to your delivery address. From the time of delivery of the Goods any loss or damage to the Goods shall be at your own risk.
In the event of Goods arriving early you would be expected to accept delivery unless an exception is agreed at time of ordering. Any such agreement will need to be confirmed in writing and form part of the contract.
If for some reason you are unable to take delivery of the Goods or delivery cannot be made due to factors beyond Potts Ltd control then without prejudice to any other right or remedy available, Potts Ltd may:
Store Goods for a maximum of 6 weeks subject to full payment being made at time of arrival to Potts Ltd. Such time period will commence upon the date when you are notified the Goods are available for delivery. Thereafter storage charges will be payable by you to Potts Ltd at a rate equivalent to 3 percent of the net retail price of the Goods in storage, this will be charged each month until delivery is completed.
It is your responsibility to advise us at the time of ordering product/s of any difficulties that may be encountered when delivering to your property. Please ensure this information is documented.
Potts Ltd reserve the right to deliver only as far as the front door or make additional charges to complete the delivery to a requested place.
Upon delivery of a Product you should carefully inspect the Goods. If any of the Goods are damaged or lost, please contact us to inform us of the problem and do not use the Goods.
Any Goods signed for are deemed as being accepted in good condition, we cannot accept any responsibility for damaged Goods once the items have been accepted and signed for.
If any provision of these terms and conditions is found by any court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the invalidity of that provision will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions which shall continue to have full force and effect.
Only the parties to these terms and conditions may seek to enforce them under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
